Hi! I am a final year psychiatry resident at the University of Virginia, currently doing a therapy internship at Active & Connected, working under the supervision of Morgan Lanier, LPC. I work in therapy with adults and adolescents who are facing depression, mood swings, anxiety, attention deficit problems, or post-traumatic symptoms.

I use cognitive behavioral therapy as well as some psychodynamic techniques to help clients work through symptoms, and I strive to approach each individual I meet with compassion and curiosity, knowing that everyone has a unique story, and that everyone deserves to be treated with dignity. My core values as a therapist are reliability and flexibility — I believe it is important to keep a sustained focus on helping clients improve in the ways they cope with the challenges they are facing, while also being flexible in how I approach those problems.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife, cycling, playing basketball, and going on walks with my dog.
